Architectural Design in 1930’s Tel Aviv and its Intellectual Roots in the Bauhaus

Tel Aviv’s International Style architecture was created with significant contributions by former students of the Bauhaus. Together with modernist designers from related intellectual streams, Bauhaus-trained architects sought to adapt the principles and forms of Neues Bauen (New Building) to the Levantine climate.
