David Ashton: A Life in Design

For over five decades, David Ashton has continued to garner awards and build up his unique graphic design portfolio. Beginning his career with Barton-Gillette, he produced brochures and promotion materials for non-profits; later he formed Ashton-Worthington where he led his design firm to win multiple awards for diverse print projects; and now he is the torchbearer for Ashton Design, an influential print, digital and environmental graphics firm.

David has designed projects for major league ballparks (famously, the Baltimore Orioles and LA Dodgers), school campuses (Johns Hopkins, University of Maryland), public spaces, residential, commercial and retail centers (such as Harbor East and Canton Crossing).
